Comprehensive coverage – the XpertCare Support Program

Unexpected downtime can stall projects and cause unnecessary costs. With the XpertCare Support Program, you can reduce this risk – reliably, predictably and beyond the standard warranty.

XpertCare was developed specifically for the WireXpert 500, WireXpert 4500 and their fiber optic modules and offers three key components:

1. Annual calibration and device testing

  • Performed at the Softing Service Centre
  • Inspection of all accessories and functions
  • Firmware update to the latest version
  • Calibration date is stored in the device and appears on the test report

2. Preferred repair service with replacement device

  • Replacement device sent as quickly as possible in the event of a defect
  • Shipping usually within one working day within the EU
  • Delivery in a transport case with prepared return documents

3. Replacement of wear parts

  • Up to six individual parts per contract year
  • Applies to:
    • Channel link adapters
    • Permanent link adapters
    • Measuring cables
    • Batteries
    • Headsets
  • Adapters and cables are considered as two parts when sold in pairs
  • Return of the defective part may be necessary
