LAN Ltd. played a remarkable role in the spreading of structured-cabled systems. Due to the continuous monitoring of demands and possibilities, they were among the first few in Hungary to start building structured systems (data, voice and video transferring parallel) and to distribute the materials necessary to these systems.

LAN Ltd. started the production Category 6 cabling before the introduction of the patent, and they have high level optical networking knowledge.
