XpertCentral

XpertCentral is the new data processing software from Softing IT Networks, currently compatible with the NetXpert XG2 series, with support for additional device series planned. With XpertCentral, users can efficiently manage measurement data and generate structured, professional PDF reports. The software simplifies the organization and secure storage of the growing volume of test results collected over time.

One of the key benefits of XpertCentral is its ability to automatically generate well-structured reports in PDF format – essential for project documentation, customer handovers, and often a prerequisite for invoicing. This provides companies with efficient, traceable documentation of all measurement activities.

Available in two versions:

• Offline version: Free of charge, single-user installation, no network functionality; ideal for standalone use.
• Enterprise version: License-based, server-installed in the customer’s network; accessible via standard web browsers, enabling platform-independent use across the organization.

Powerful features for efficient measurement data management

XpertCentral offers a wide range of powerful functions that are specially optimized for the management and documentation of measurement data. The software enables centralized management of the NetXpert XG2 series and supports users in creating professional reports in PDF format. With the integrated user administration, administrators, managers and technicians can be assigned different rights, which ensures flexible and secure use. The database structure allows large volumes of measurement data to be searched and sorted efficiently. 

Newly imported data is first stored in an inbox, similar to an email programme. This ‘inbox’ model helps to keep track of new entries more easily. This is particularly helpful if the database already contains many projects. Users can then assign the data to the appropriate projects from the inbox.

The software also offers data backup and restore mechanisms to ensure reliable archiving of measurement data. Both versions, the offline and the enterprise version, guarantee seamless integration into existing IT environments.
