Measurements with a certifier after the cabling has been installed are a proven means of ensuring that the cabling actually meets the performance requirements for a particular application. Test reports from these measurements serve as documentation of the quality of the installed cabling to the installer or systems engineer installing that cabling, to the inspectors, users and owners of that cabling.
