The Fiber Optic Microscope - your indispensable inspection tool for connector surfaces.

The digital fiber optic microscope automatically inspects and certifies the end-faces of fiber optic connectors according to industry standards and specifications. It provides immediate PASS/FAIL results at the touch of a button.

Contaminated connectors are the main cause of faults in optical networks. Therefore, when checking Fiber optic links, the connector surfaces should be inspected before each one is plugged in. This prevents dirt from affecting transmission quality or damaging the contact surface. With the fiber optic microscope, connector end-faces can be quickly and easily inspected and automatically evaluated according to industry standards and specifications. These reproducible evaluations prevent subjective misjudgments of fiber end-face quality.

Thanks to the USB connection, the microscope can be easily connected to the WireXpert series or the FiberXpert 5000, LinkXpert M3, and NetXpert series.

The corresponding evaluation of the connector end-faces is automatically included in the respective measurement reports. Automatic image centering ensures that the fiber optic cable is always displayed in the center of the screen. Two magnification levels (200x/400x) enable detailed and meaningful testing and analysis. Effortless switching between live and analysis views is possible at the touch of a button.

Additional test probes are available to comprehensively support all connector types used in today‘s networks.
